FAQ'S

  • How do I get in contact with you?
    You can get in touch by using our email address. Email us with your name, number and as much detail about your enquiry as possible and we will be in touch. Alternatively, you can use the contact form.
  • What do I do if my goods are damaged or faulty?
    We check all goods before leaving the workshop and will only send goods out if we are completely satisfied with their condition. We suggest that you check your goods for any damage on delivery and notify us as soon as possible. We will require proof of damage which can be sent in photo form in an email we can then make a claim against the relevant courier. We want you to be happy with your goods. If you are not satisfied, please contact us via email giving us as much detail as possible and leave your name and contact number so we can get in touch to discuss.
  • What is the returns policy?
    If the product is not as you expected you will need to email us or get in touch via our contact form. Please give us as much detail as possible as to why you are not satisfied. All return requests need to be made within 24 hours of delivery and refunds will only be issued once the goods have been returned to us. Return delivery may be chargeable.
  • How do I return a faulty or damaged item?
    If after getting in touch about your goods a return is agreed, we will email you with a pre-detailed label for you to print and attach to the returning goods.
  • I’ve placed my order what happens next?
    We will receive details of your order and your goods will be cut to size in our workshop. Once ready we will arrange with the courier the delivery of your goods, we will notify you by email once they have left our workshop and they are on their way to you.
  • What payment methods do you take?
    We accept PayPal and debit card payments. For full payment details see our payment information page.
  • Can I make changes to my order?
    Once your order has been placed you will have 12 hours to make any changes. To do this please email us directly giving your name, order reference and details to changes that you wish to make. We will be in touch to confirm any changes to your order and payment before your wood is cut.
  • What do I do if I never receive my order?
    Once your goods have been dispatched from our workshop, we will be in contact via email with the courier details and expected delivery. If your goods do not arrive please get in touch with us as soon as possible so we can liaise with the courier service.
  • How do I contact you if my questions are not answered here?
    You can get in touch by emailing us or by using the contact form. If we feel your question will benefit other customers, we will add it to our FAQ page.
  • How do I make sure I order the correct size? What are your cut tolerances?
    We recommend that you measure twice before submitting your order. All our measurements are in mm this is to provide more accuracy when cutting. We cut to a tolerance of +/- 0.5mm
  • What thickness edging should I order?
    Edging comes in thicknesses slightly bigger that sheet size so that it can trimmed down once it has been glued into place. For example for veneer that is up to 19mm the edging strip needed 22mm for veneer that is thicker the edging strip needed is 30mm.
  • How much is delivery?
    Delivery charges are based on weight. At checkout you will be given a delivery price based on your order.
  • I am after a timber that you don’t have listed.
    If there is a timber that we have not got listed, please get in touch either via email or our contact us form and we will try our best to source it for you.
  • What is your delivery timescale?
    We aim to have your wood machined cut and delivered to your door within 5-7 working days.
  • Where will you ship too?
    We use a UK based courier service who will ship to all mainland UK. If you live outside of mainland UK please email and get in touch with us regarding your order before you place it and we will look into delivery for you.
  • How to care for the wood?
    Caring for your wood depends on how it has originally been finished or sealed. For general cleaning avoid using polishes and solutions as they can cause damage to the finish.
  • How will the edges of the veneered MDF be finished?
    The edges on a veneered MDF will be raw, this means you will see the MDF. You can purchase edging strips with your veneered MDF have a look at our accessories page for details.
